Bruce Cirrinone
Designer/Developer
Profile
Bruce has been involved with computers since 1985 and has been building websites
for over 10 years. His diversified background provides a rich canvas from which
he can create an effective web presence for small business. In addition to his passion
for designing websites, he currently provides the operational support for clients
of Z Tech Systems.
Accomplishments
Mr. Bruce Cirrinone was officially named a principal of Z Tech Systems
in 2000. After fifteen years in the travel industry, his experience as a wholesaler,
retailer, educator and small agency owner enabled him to help develop the NTS System
for National Trade Shows, a company specializing
in trade show production for the travel industry. This custom multi-user database
system automates show registration for over 300 trade shows a year, and mailings
to over 100,000 travel agents across the US and Canada.
Prior to joining Z Tech Systems, Bruce worked for
Prophesy Transportation Software, using various
Help authoring and computer based training tools to create a standardized Help Desk
system.
Bruce operated his own consultancy, Brownstone Consulting,
for several years, specializing in minor PC repairs, hardware and software upgrades,
and website design and management.
He even taught ballroom dance at Arthur Murray's
for about three years.
An award winning web designer, Bruce is constantly on the lookout for new methods
of presenting information to the public on the web. His websites have been built
with editors such as Front Page and Dreamweaver, but he takes special pride in his
knowledge and experience at hand coding. As a graphic artist for the web, he enjoys
working with Macromedia products such as Flash and Fireworks. Mr. Cirrinone is a
strong proponent of standards-based design.
Mr. Cirrinone's formal education focused on Business Administration and Fine Arts
at Point Park College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as Greater Hartford Community
College in Hartford, Connecticut. He appeared in the 1992 Platinum Edition of the
"Who's Who Registry." In the mid-70's he served his country as a Training
NCO, Company Clerk and Ceremonial Soldier with the US Army Presidential Honor Guard
in Ft. Myer, Virginia. Highlights of Bruce's military career include performing
at President Carter's Inaugural and at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
An avid reader, Bruce is likely to be reading fiction in his spare time, but he
often has a new book on web design open while he's watching television so he doesn't
waste time during the commercials. He maintains a hobby website called
BonsaiBruce.com. A member of the
Bonsai Society of the Palm Beaches and the American
Orchid Society, his other hobbies include: gourmet cooking and eating,
collecting and drinking fine wines, collecting Royal Octavo edition Audubon bird
prints, travel, and playing with a Congo African Grey named
Bishop, and a Goffin Cockatoo named
Morgan.
